Data Collection
Smart Clipboard Manager does not collect, transmit, or share any user data. All clipboard history, pinned items, folders, text snippets, and settings are stored exclusively in chrome.storage.local on the user's own device.
No data is ever sent to any server, third party, or external service. The extension has no backend, no analytics, no telemetry, and requires no account or login.
Clipboard Content
Text that the user copies is saved locally to their device only. This data never leaves the browser. The developer has no access to any user's clipboard content.
Permissions
Permissions requested by this extension are used solely to provide clipboard history capture and text snippet expansion functionality as described in the extension listing.
